At the Game Awards 2023, the remake of “Brothers: A Tale of Two Sons” was revealed, and we got our first look at some gameplay footage. The game now has a Steam page where you can find technical details, including the system requirements needed to run it.
System Requirements for Brothers: A Tale of Two Sons Remake
Minimum Requirements:
– OS: Windows 10 (64 Bit)
– Processor: Intel Core i7-6700 (4 cores at 3400 MHz), AMD Ryzen 5 1500X (4 cores at 3500 MHz)
– RAM: 8 GB
– GPU: Nvidia GTX 1650 with 8 GB Dedicated RAM
– DirectX: Version 11
– Storage: 35 GB
Recommended Requirements:
– OS: Windows 10 (64 Bit)
– Processor: Intel Core i7-10700 (8 cores at 2900 MHz), AMD Ryzen 7 3700X (8 cores at 3600 MHz) or equivalent
– RAM: 16 GB
– GPU: Geforce RTX 2060 Super (6 GB), Radeon RX 5700 (8 GB)
– DirectX: Version 12
– Storage: 35 GB
The developers haven’t shared the exact target resolution or framerate yet. Still, if you want to play the game on higher settings, you’ll need something like an RTX 2060 Super and a Ryzen 7 3700X. However, if you’re okay with lowering some settings, a GTX 1650 should be sufficient. Regardless of settings, make sure you have at least 16 GB of RAM and 35 GB of free storage space.
The game has been completely rebuilt using Unreal Engine 5, with new assets, character models, and environments. Additionally, the soundtrack has been re-recorded with a live orchestra, as mentioned on the game’s Steam page.
You can now add “Brothers: A Tale of Two Sons Remake” to your wishlist on Steam. The game will be available for PC, PS5, and Xbox Series S|X on February 28, 2024.
