Exciting Moonbreaker Steam Preview Weekend Playtests Launching Soon

“Moonbreaker” is a new turn-based strategy tabletop game from Unknown Worlds Entertainment and KRAFTON, quite different from their previous survival games like “Subnautica.” The world of Moonbreaker has been crafted by well-known fantasy author Brandon Sanderson. The game is set to be released later this month, but you can get a sneak peek by participating in the Moonbreaker Steam Preview Weekend Playtests.

Moonbreaker Steam Preview Weekend Playtests

If you’re eager to check out Moonbreaker, the preview playtests are the perfect opportunity. You’ll be able to try out Captains, build your own custom Rosters, paint your Units, and more. The playtest weekends will be available from September 9-11 and September 16-18. Any custom paint jobs you create during these sessions will carry over to the main game if you decide to purchase it later.

To sign up for the playtest, just follow these simple steps:

1. Log into your Steam account.
2. Search for “Moonbreaker.”
3. Click on the “Request Access” button under the “Join the Moonbreaker Playtest” section.
4. Confirm your request.

That’s all you need to do! Once you complete these steps, you’ll gain access on the dates mentioned above.

During the playtests, you’ll have access to the full game, though a few in-game systems will be temporarily disabled. You’ll get to use the Season 1 Units and Captains. While your overall progress will be erased before the Early Access release, your custom paint jobs will stay if you buy the game. Be prepared for possible server maintenance and technical issues, as this playtest is designed to stress-test the servers.

Please note that not everything you see in the game is final, particularly aspects like localization. We expect the official Early Access release to come with even more features.

Moonbreaker Release Date

Moonbreaker will be available for PC on September 29, 2022.

We recommend checking out the game’s system requirements too. If you’re more interested in waiting for the official Early Access release, you can add Moonbreaker to your Steam wishlist.
